FIREMAN FINED. [Pkb Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 14. A fireman on the Athenic, named 'Patrick Cunningham, was charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with -jieobedience of an order to muster for boat drill on the voyage out. Defendant contended that boat drill was out- ! eide the work he had contracted to per-? I form. Mr Riddell, S.M., eaid that the Lorder was a legitimate one, and the ■crew must become proficient in boat ■drill. Defendant was fined £1.
