MR M'INTYRE.

STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER OF

JUSTICE. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 24. The Minister of Justice states that the Government has not yet obtained sufficient evidence to warrant it applying for the arrest and extradition of Mr M'lntyre, but an officer has been specially detached to make inquiries, and the result will be known this evening. If sufficient evidence be obtained, & cable message authorising Mr M'lntyre's arrest will be at once sent.
