NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION.
EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT. The New Zealand Bowling Association had a repetition of its good fortune for the fourth day of the Exhibition tournament, and though there was a very light rain in the early morning, the day turned out fine. The chief interest of the day centred in the continuation of the final stages of the Rink Championship." All the rink games were played on the Canterbury green, where there was a large attendance of spectators throughout the day. Apart from the rink play, there was plenty to interest players in the beginning of the Doubles Tournament. With 174 entries the competition is one of considerable magnitude, and the Association has had to make use of six. greens in order to advance the contest as rapidly as is necessary. Those rinks on the Canterbury green which have not been required for the Rink Championship have been taken up by doubles players and the Christchurch, United, St Albans, Sydenham and Sunnyside greens are also full.
