BATHING FATALITY.
[Per Press Association - .] WAIROA, December 21. George Hamlin, eight years of age, son of Mr Reginald Hamlin, was drowned in the river yesterday afternoon while bathing. He got out of his depth. Tlie body was recovered. ROTORUA, December 21. The wife of Mr Sidney Cox, the wellknown photographer, of Rotorua, d^pd •suddenly last night, after an operation for an internal trouble. She had only been married a few months.
