PRINCE AND ACTRESS.
GERMAN ROYAL ROMANCE. Prince Joachim Albrecht of Prussia is the second cousin of the Emperor, and Mdine Marie Sulsser is a German actress who has been playing at the Trianon Theatre. Prince Joachim Albrecht, second son of the late Prince Albrecht, is thirty years old, and holds the rank of major in the lsfe Regiment of Grenadier Guards, stationed in Berlin. He possesses exceptional musical talents, and has composed several light operettas. He is also a painter of no mean order. The Prince is a cousin of the Duchess of Oonnaught. Mdme Sulzer is about ten years older than the Prince, and she is not very beautiful, nor is she an actress of the very first rank. She plays second-rate roles at the Trianon Theatre, where French plays of a certain character are regularly produced. She is unusually tall, and her dimensions are almost figantic.^ She was firlst married to aroii Llebenberg, but this union was terminated by divorce within a short time of the wedding. Prince Joachim Albreoht's attachment to her has been the subject of gossip for some time past, but it appears that the Prince preferred not to marry her during his father's lifetime. There are, however, indications that the late Prince Albrecht either knew or suspected his son's intention, for Prince Joachim Albrecht has been partially disinherited by his father's will, and will only receive that proportion of his father's property required by Prussian lew, which protects near relatives from total disinheritance. In the ordinary course of things Prince Joachim Albrecht would have~inherited about £1,500,000. Prince Joachim Albrecht is a second cousin of the Kaiser, whose views on unequal marriages are very severe. Albrecht owes obedience to the Kaiser as head of the Hohenzollern family.
