OPERA HOUSE.
There was almost an overflowing aur dience at the Qpera House on Saturday evening, when a very good programme was presented, with the promise of a liberal improvement as from tonight. As usual, a light selection occupied the first part of the evening, among the performers being the ever popular Miss Clara Keating, Mise Amy JbSlackie, and Mr George Scott. The Rovvell sisters also appeared, and Mr Will Stevens's name had a prominent place on the programme. In the second part, Mr Will Rollow re-appeared. This popular comedian, with a selection, of comic songs and patter that appealed very strongly to the taste of the audience was several times recalled. The Musical Gardners again presented their \ attractive turn. Notable among their items was a vocal horn duet, and a duet played upon xylophones. Messrs Scott brothers again gave an " Irish specialty," full of catches and smart sayings, and their performance was much enjoyed. Miss Lucy Lavinia, the.Rowell sisters, and Mr Frank King, completed the list of performers in this section*. A good selection of kinematograph, pictures was. shown. To-night a substantial addition will be made to the programme by the introduction, of Antonio's Dog and Monkey circus.
