— _ .* [Per "Pbess Association.] o WELLINGTON, August 18. The "Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has agreed to the proposed agreement between the Association and the New Zealand Athletic Union as to suspensions, disqualifications and reinstatements. It is proposed to hold a provincial inter-school carnival on December 30, and 135 State schools and colleges in the Wellington province have been communicated vrith. A conference of masters will be held shortly, when, a programme embracing athletic competitions, calisthenics and physical drill will be drawn up. It has been decided to recommend to the Council that in scoring championship points at ' future meathigs one point additional i should be allotted to all competitors | j breaking the standard time.
