THE DUNLOP BLOCKADE.
The local manager of the Dnnlop Rubber Company, still persists in blockading the world 'e best bicyelee, viz., Shifts, Humbers, Eadies, Stars, New Hudsons and Triumphs, from being ridden in the Dunlop Road Race, notwithstanding our withdrawal by publicadvertisement of the special pnze6 offered, and especially after our action in donating the amount of the prwmoney to a charitable object. Theblockade of riders of our cycles is causing serious disappointment to many intending competitors, through no fault of their awn, their entries on the abov« cycles having been refused solely on a©» count of the unreasonable attitucta maintained by the manager of the Duulop Company. We particularly request that all riders of our cycles who have been debarred will comniunicate with us immediately. We confidently tears it to the public of New Zealand to decide if British fair-play has beea shown to riders of our ■machine*. Adams Star Cycle Company, 138 and 140, High Street, and 198, Hobte'a Buildings (near Broadway's), Christ* church. ■:■•■:••■ 60a
