At the sheep sales, ' Taemanian merinoes fetched generally satisfactory prices. A ram of Mr Thomas Gibson's brought 425 guineas, and one of Mr W. Gibson's 450 guineas. Prices of fat stock at Homebush showed a further advance. Best crossbred wethers made 20b, extra 24s 6d to 275; best ewes 19s 6d, extra, 24s 9d to 275 ; best bullocks made £12, extra £15 12s 6d ; best cows £10, and extra £11.
