Mr Norton created excitement in tihe Legislative Assembly by accusing Mr Holman, a prominent Labour member, of accepting bribes from the brewers in connection with the Liqitor Bill, arid demanded a Royal Commission to inquire into the matter. He challenged Mr Holman to resign and contest the Cootamundra sets with him.
