THE EXHIBITION.

4 At to-day's meeting of the Lyttelton JEarbour Board, Mr G. Laurenson, M.H.R., moved that the Finance Committee should consider the question of increasing t!he Board's contribution, towards the Exhibition. The Board had previously voted £100, but other Harbour Boards had voted large sums. After some discussion it was decided to suspend the standing orders, and Mr Laurenson moved that an additional sum of £150 should be voted to the Exhibition. This was seconded by Mr Buddo and carried, Messrs Rutherford, Webb and Anderson dissenting.
