MR WINSTON CHURCHILL ON MR CHAMBERLAIN.
(Received January 17, 8.36 a.m.) LONDON, January 16. Speaking at Cardiff, Mr Winston Churchill said that Mr Chamberlain' b plan for establishing a great federation of States commercially walled off from the rest of the world would not lead to peace, progress and civilisation, but was tainted with barbarism. The Liberals did not mind being dependent on the foreign nations, since that would make these nations dependent upon Britain.
