The pistol was a 22-calibre toy, but a dangerous one in inexperienced hands. Tho cartridges were those used in an ordinary pea rifle. The found that death was caused h_- a pistol shot, fired by Roy King. The Coroner said it was impossible to bring a charge T>f manslaughter against King, though £•» would probably have been charged ho had been older.
