Linseed oil. — 25. Hides, leather, etc. — A few hides were sold at late rates. Basils have advanced a halfpenny; first Wellingtons I6id to 19£ d. Leather is unchanged, and but a. small business is doing. Rabbits. — The market is dull; large New Zealande 17s per -crate of 24, Sydneys 14s 6d to 15s, Melbournes 13s 6d tol4s6d. : Frozen meat.— Canterbury mutton, medium 4£d; other sorts and lamb and beef unchanged. River Plate sheep unchanged. Beef, forequarters 2sd, hindquarters 2gd.
