THE VOLUNTEERS.

There was an attendance of sixty-six of all ranks at the parade of No. 5 Company Garrison Artillery Volunteers (Lyttelton Navals) yesterday evening. Captain Foster was in command, and Major Copper, of tho Lyttelton Artillery Division, and Lieutenants Andrews and Edinger, of the Canterbury Engineers, were present. The company went to Fort Jervois. and was instructed in fort-manning. After the parade, a general meeting was held, and Mr J. S. Gill was elected lieutenant of the company.
