ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
♦ FRUSTRATED BY TWO LADIES. [Per Peess Association.] NELSON, July 21. An old pensioner named Neeson is alleged to have attempted to commit suicide at Motueka by hanging, in a cow-shed. He was cut down_ in time by two ladies. A charge of attempted suicide was called in Court to-day, but Neason was too ill to be moved, and the proceedings were adjourned.
