IRISH JUDES.

THE STORES SCANDAL. LONDON, June 23. A Bill ha 3 been introduced providing for tho reduction at the next yacanoy of tho Lord Chancellor of Ireland's salary from £8000 to £6000, and the number of Judges from ten to eight. The saving thus effected will be devoted to Irish development. General Sir Neville Lyttelton has resigned his position as Chief of the General Staff, owing to his nominal responsibility for the stores scandal. A controversy respecting the identity of Myers in connection with the stores scandal is going on. It appears that one Carl Meyer took Bergh's contract, and was a director of the company of Meyer Limited, of which H. J. Meyer was the principal. Morgan's relations were chiefly with the latter.
