! There are signs that the celebration of Purim is being revived, in more or less sedate form, to suit the ultra-re-spectable and conventional age in which we live. . There is so much humour and tragedy in the story of the Megillah, and it contains so many morals, that it would be a disaster if young Jewry were to forget the lessons which the season teaches, as applicable to-day as they were in the days of King Ahasuerus. — "JCewish World."
