EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.

The second series of weekly results at the New Zealand Egg-laying Competition were recorded on Monday morning, but when the local Press applied for the information, it was informed that it was not available. The results have been mailed to the Department of Agriculture at Wellington, and the management of the competition will not divulge them directly to the P,ress (as in tfye case of the Lincoln College Competition) without the express sanotion of the Department. 1 ■ I
