At the Arbitration Court, when the ' Ship, Yacht and Boat-builders' dispute was called, the employers objected to ; the healing on the ground of irregular procedure, similar to that in cases previously dismissed. The Union with- ' drew, the case, and asked if the old agreement would hold good until another case was brought^ the present Union being under a different name, from that under which it had previous-; ly existed. Mr Justice Chapman replied that the new Union could not enforce the old agreement, but it was a different matter as 'to whether the inspectors could enforce it, and he would | not like to express an opinion hastily.
