CORRESPONDENCE.
TROUT. TO THE EPIIOB. Sir— The Henley Fisheries Association recently placed in the Thames one hundred trout, each having a small tablet attached to the dorsal fin. The Tourist Department might possibly be able to follow the growth and movements of their beloved trout by similar means. As numbers of the try are now annually killed in the cleaning of water, races I venture to suggest that rescue ponds at intervals along the races might be used for throwing the living but stranded trout found by the Christchuroh May 13.
