Two were . dukes' daughters and each of the rest had an earl for father. With one exception, that of Lady Victoria Howard, each j bridesmaid became a wife in turn, and of these three are widows to-day. Lady Victoria Scott became a marchioness (of Lothian) * Lady Elma Bruce, ( Lady Emily Villiers, and Lady Eleanor Hare found husbands among the barons; Lady Feodorovna Wellesley and Lady Agneta Yorke were mated with the younger sons of 'earls; and Lady Diana Beauclerk was wife to a Baron of the Exchequer,' Sir John Huddleston.
