ST PETERSBURG, May 12. Colonel Greschner, head of the gendarmerie at Nijni Novgorod, was shot
when entering «his house. The murderer has been captured.
A party of Jews from Berdichev, who were hastening to Zhitomir, were attacked midway, and eight were Mlled and many wounded.
