WHEN SUCCESS IS FAILURE.
When you have lost on your way up to your fortune, your self-respect, your courage, your self-control, or any other quality of manhood.
When it has made conscience an accuser, and shut the sunlight- out of your life.
When the hunger for more money, more land, more houses and property has grown to be your dominant passion.
When it has dwarfed you mentally and morally, and has robbed you of the spontaneity and enthusiasm of youth.
• When it has made you a physical wreck — a victim - of " nerves "and moods.
When it has hardened you to the needs and sufferings of others, and made you s scorner of the poor and unfortunate.
When the world is not the better and the richer for your life; when you have hoarded every penny you have made, and have refused to help your less fortunate fellow-men.
