The Bench convicted and discharged the accused on condition that she remained in the Salvation Army Home for three months. Failure to do so would involve a month's imprisonment. A Series or Charges.— James Madden was charged with haying, at Christohuroh, on February 22. 1905, broken into and entered the dwelling of Robert Wallace, and stolen therefrom one case of razors, valued at £2 2s, two silver serviette rings, valued at £1, one gold brooch, valued at 6d, also two half-pennies. The same acoused was further charged charged with having at Redobffs, on February 21, broken into the dwelling of Theodore De Thier,. and stolen there-from-three shirts valued at 13s 6d, and one lady's silver watch value £2 10s. Another charge was preferred against the accused of having entered, the dwelling of Robert George Muff, and stealing therefrom a lady's watch, value £2, one sold pin, value 7s 6d, one silver buttonhook, value Is 6d, and two silver brooches, valued 10s. On the application of Chife Deteotive Chrystal a reI mand was granted for a week.
