Tliere was perfect weather for the opening day of the Tahuna Park Trotting Chub's meeting, and the attendance was satisfactory. °The following are the results up to the time of going to press: — TRIAL HANDICAP (in saddle), of 30 sovs; two miles-^Osborne R., Bsec, 1; Alamra, 12sec, 2.; Maid of Honour, 2sec, 3. De Lavis scr was scratched. Time— srni& 37sec. Dividends— £l 8s and £% 18s.
