Etienne's speech in the Chamber of Deputies creates the belief that the Anglo* French Treaty will be ratified by a majority of nearly four hundred. (In the Chamber of Deputies M. Etienn* justified the Anglo-French treaty. He said that after what Britain had done in Egypt, France could not ask her to evacuate. While remaining faithful to Russia, France must also be friends with Britain, hoping some day to bring about a triple alliance of those -Powers.) (Received!
