HORSE PARADE.

NORTHERN AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION. The Northern Agricultural and Pastoral Association's horse parade, held at Rangiora to-day, in a paddock in Berceval Street, kin&y lent by Mr M. Scott, was the most satisfactory that has taken place' for some years. There was an entry of twenty -four st«llior_-, four more than last year, * and the exhibits were all of very good quality. , In tie dxaugsht class there were eleven exhibits, including several wellknown horses and a few young aspirants to favour. There were three thoroughbreds, one being the Government stallion Singlestick 11. In the carriage and hackney class there were eight entries, mostly horses that have been several times previously exhibited. Two ponies completed the 'catalogued list.; The parade arrangements were well managed by Messrs J. Wyllie, P. L. Doncdd, W. Scoon, James Wyllie, J. Lilly, RL Ligget, and A. S. Clarkson (S-gretary of the Association).
