AN ESCAPED PRISONER.

* [Per Press Association*.! BLENHEIM, July 14. A man named Finiay, who escaped from the prisoners' camp, at Dumgree, is still at large. He is dressed in civilian clothes. It is believed that he has been seen, but not recognised, by settlers in the Awatera district. He was not seen to leave the camp by the warders, but his absence was discovered about seven o'clock. .He was serving three years' imprisonnme'nt, having been sentenced at Timaru, for assault. He had completed about eighteen months of th& terra. Finiay escaped from custody ou & previous occasion from another place.
