A young man known as Wilson, working for Mr John Greaves, five mites beyond Tarata, was cutting down a dead tree last evening when a branch fell and struck him on the back of the head, killing him instantly. An inquest will be held to-mor-row. [From Our Correspondent.] KAIKOURA, July 5. A youth named Rutherford, while out shooting with another person at Kekerangu, was accidentally shot dead. No particulars are yet to hand.
