DUNEDIN, June 22

The students of Otago University mustered in force, mostly wearing academic costume, at the Choral Hall, this afternoon, when »ac diplomas and degrees in connection with the New Zealand University were presented. Sir Robert/ Stout, Chancellor of the University, waa the principal spokesman, but speeches were also made by the Mayor Dr tSalmond ana Dr Benham. Additional interest was lent to the proceedings by the fact that Mr Allan Thomson, holder of the Rhodes scholarship, was one of tiie successful graduates. The death is announced of the Rev J. A. Will, Presbyterian Minister of Lawrence, and son of the Rev Dr Will, one of the earliest settlers in the Taieri. Deceased had undergone an operation for appendicitis.
