A meeting of the House Committee of the Chrisfcchiirch Cycling aaid Motor Club was held in the Club House last evening, Mr E. Lawson. in the chair. Arrangements were made for the club's annual ball, which < "will be held at the Art Gallery, .da Tours- . day, June 30. A sub-committee was ap' pointed to arrange for refreshments to be ; served in the Club House during the winter, • and to arrange spcial gatherings of the 1 msimibftrs. . .<* The Dunlop Company is in receipt of ad- ' vie© that all arrangements have been made iri connection with the Manawatu Test Race t-o chofise a. district representative for tie Timaru-Christchvrch Road Race. It is ; reported that Barrow, last year's winner of ■ the Timaru-Ohristch-urch Race, will be un- : able to compete in this year's event on account of ill-health.
