[Per Press Association.] NAPIER,' January 15. Tho Canterbury-Hawke's Bay match was resumed to-day in perfect weather. 1 Callaway was clean bowled by Fenton when he Lad raised his score to 64. Wigley, who followed, sent his first ball to Macasscy, and retired without scoring. The sc«re at 12.15 stood at four wickets for 185 (Ollivier not -out 45, Wheatley not out 26). Ollivier and Wheatley carried the score to 215, when the latter was smartly caught ■by Hallamore behind the wickets after compiling *45. Ollivier gave Lusk a chance some time before this partnership was dissolved, but it was- not accepted. Whitta. filled the vacancy, and with Ollivier played out time to the luncheon adjournment, the score standing at 245 for five wickets (Ollivier 75, Whitta 3).
