The "Pall Mall Gazette" says:—"Despite all protests Western Australia appears determined to carry her objection to the Railway Traffic and Mining Bills. The fact of. the Midland Railway Company's alleged breaches of contract not being dealt with directly by the Court or by. Parliament inclines -one to believe that the allegation is exaggerated or unfounded. We 'Jiope for thesake ot colonial credit that means will be found to prevent the attem.pt to override by side issues a contract entered into by the Imperial Government."
