♦ A meeting of the committee of the Christchurch Cycling and Motor Club was held last evening, Mr W f . D. Thompson in tie chair. It was decided to donate £10 10s to Mr S. L. puftietguej who met with the accident on his motor cycle at the Wheel. Race meeting, and the seeietary was instructed to express the club's regret at the accident. The action of the captain and secretary in not receiving the entry from the big power nibtors on the second day of the Wheel Ra.ce meeting was approved, and it was decided Hot to fellow any motor' of more than two and & half 'horse-power to oompete until the track at Lancaster Park is improved. The conditions for the motor can driving competition for the club's Boxing Day meeting were arranged. It was decided that a pacing Steward Should be elected to niaiia£e this pace In the Three-mile Royal Stifield Challenge Cup Scratch Race on Boxing Day. . A meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Athletic and Cycling Club was held last evening, Mr Montagu m the chair. It was decided to invite owners of motor cars and motor cydles to take part in the procession at Lancaster; Park on Christmas Day^ Avhen Mr Phillijj Franz will act as a lmrnari bridge, the cars passing over his body.
