* Judfee Ward went south by this morning's express. Mr G. Rutherford, of DaletborpOi is in Christchurch. Major B. H. Owen arrived from Wellington thia morning. Messrs J. C. N. Grigg, A. M. Loasby and M.. C. Orbell were passengers J6r the j south by the express this morning. j Mr and Mrs W. R. Haselden and Major ! Moore will leave for Wellington by the , Rotomahana this evening. Mr E. Cuthbert, who has returned to Christchurch, will submit to the Drainage Board, at its meeting on Monday, a report in regard to his visit to Australia. Mr Gilbert Carson, of Wanganui, is at present on a visit to Christchurch. ■» Dr W. Anderson arrived fro-m the north by the p,s. Victoria to-day. His Honor Judge Ward and the Rev R. Young arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Tarawera this morning. Captain Joyce, who is on leave of absence, Arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Victoria this morning. ' {
