[Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, October 29. The Poverty Bay Turf Club's Spring Meeting -was opened lib-day in glorious weather. There was a large attendance. The following are 'the "results : — TKIAL HANDICAP, of 25 bovb; six furlongs — Tutungeremi 1, Vivacity 2, Terahui 3. Romany Girl and SarakoflE also started. Won by two lengths. Dividends— £l 15s and £1 23. FIRST HURDLE HACfi, of 45 boys; one mile and •three-quarters — Nance O'^eil, lQst 7lb, 1; Mangamahaki, 93t 101 b, 2. Master Model and "Wilson also started, but did mot finish. Dividend— £l 16b.
