Representatives of a Wellington and Auckland syndicate are here, and h.ave made aji offer to buy the Tyneside Mine out, guaranteeing to re-open the Wallsend Mine at once. A meeting of shareholders will be held next we-ek to consider the offer, "which is likely to be accepted.
