William Rhea, a young man who vras condemned ifi death for murder at Snyder, Nebraska, and who was sentenced to death because of the omission of a. commai in engrossing the law when passed by tihe Legislature, will pay the penalty of his crime on the gallows, Governor Mickey having refused to interfere. Great pressure has besa brought to bear on the GovernJor to secure a commutation to life imprisonment, but he declared that since be was the executor of law, v riot its judge, and since no errefr was made in the trial, he would refuß© to interfere with the sentence!
