They wrested the" bag from the officer carrying it> hit him with it t und then handed it to a horseman. The latter, starting a headlong flight, knocked dawn Mr Brandon, manager of a ]ocal firm. The horse bolted and threw its rider, who rushed with the bag into a l.ousft. When; arrested he gave hi 9 name as Frank Goddard. He -was charged with robbery, and remanded till March. 17. Mr Brandon succumbed to his injuries.)
