. the w«ekly meeting of\ the Lytteltoft Literary and Debating Society was held hi 1 *the Presbyterian Schoolroom last nighty ' and was very well attended. Mr J. R. ■jg Webb, one of the vice-presidents, was, in the. chair. The Rev Frederic Stubbs gave a very interesting lecture on "The Ait of Prolonging Lift," and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. A vote of thanks Vaa also passed to the oiembers of the I Amateur Dramatic Society for the Anter'tainment they had given last week.
