NAPIER, May 11
The Suprem- Court criminal sessionopened to-day, the Chief Justice presiding. The calendar is of an ordinary character, comprising charges against twelve persons, but none of a, serious nature. Elizabeth Young, comanitted for sentence for concealment of birth, iii connection with tbe recent harbour mystery, was admittied to probation for one week, the report as to the accused's 'character being very fayoural_ _,
