HOME AMUSEMENTS FOR WINTER EVENINGS. PRIZES FOR INDUSTRY AND PERSEVERANCE. PRIZES will be given to those answering the greatest number of the Puzzles. The correct solutions are known only to Puzzle Editob. Competitors must not be more than 15 years of ege. The FIRST PRIZE WILL BE £1, and the winner will be allowed the amount in cash, or can select a prize of the value named. The Competition opened in " THE CANTERBURY TIMES " On APRIL 29fch. Answers to the Puzzles, etc., and all letters about the column must be addressed to PUZZLE EDITOR. Competitors can send in their answers weekly, or at the close of the Competition. TWELVE PRIZES WILL BE GIVEN, And will be awarded, to those who first solve the greatest number 61 Puzzles. Each letter will be stamped with the date on which it is received by the Puzzle Editor.'
