TEETOTAL GOAT,
ROBBED 0E HIS BEER. I \ The old goat of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, which went through the war with, the regiment, has quit© settled down to civil! life among his former comrades in Windsor Great Park. ' . <> One thing only he misses, say the Crown employees who feed him, and that is hisi beer. It is stated that when he was with tht} colours the foldiers used to give him ale.- Now he is perforce s, strict teetotaller, and dirinks only from brooks that run through the forest nsar his old home. A red dress instantly claims his attention, and a urtif orm never fails to awaken his interest. Bufc he seems to recognise his old haunts round Cranbourne Tower, where he passed his youth before he took the Queen's shilling.
