Under the agreement between the various States the Eastern Extension Company's rate on messages is subject to a reduction of from 3s to 2s 6d in the event of the company's revenue exceeding £300,000. The company has notified that for the year just closed its receipts were only £296^000. There will be no reduction, therefore, at present.. ,
