N BATTERY
Twenty-nino members of the N Battery took part in tho corps' prize-tiring. The first- match, a handicap of seven shots, at 200 and 500 yards, was won by Quarter-master-Sergeant Rattray (scr) Avith f 62 points; Gunner H. Olliver (1) -was second, with 60 points, and Sergeant-Major Beazley (4) third, with 60 points. Bombardier Gilmore (scr), Gunner Jusfc (3) and Corporal M'Carthy (1) also made 60 points, and were counted out. . The second match, a handicap of seveii shots, at 500 and 600 yards, was also won. by Quarter-master-Sergeant Rattray (scr), with 61 points ; Sergeant Brice (1) was second, with 60 i^oints, and Bombardier Gil mo re (scr) third, with 56. Sergeant-major Suiter (5) made 55 points. Tlie prizes were presented by tho Rev ... Eliot Chambers, and Messrs J. Palmer G. C. Smith, F. Beverley and Wi G. Sheplieard and the company. The members of the Ladies' P.irlc Club provided afternoon tea. The ten leading aggregate scorers are to shoot for a silver cup and on. guinea on Saturday next.
