A married Asroman named Mary Ann Wilcox, of York Street, Paxnell, has been arrested on a-. .charge of abandoning a male obild, under two years of ago. It is alleged that a daughter of Mrs Wilcox gave birth to a child on Monday, and that the infant was found on the front doorstep of Thomas Burton.
