THE SUMNER DROWNING CASE
FUNERAL OF THE VICTIM. The funeral of the late Mr George Spring took place yesterday afternoon, afc tlie Linwood Cemetery. The coffin, which was covered with wreaths and the Union Jack (the deceased being a returned trooper) was borne by a number of returned troopers and Mr. Franklin, who was saved from the capsized oil launch at Sumner.
