' " Warder Lodge Writes to the local paper denying that he was the cause, as has been alleged, in aft East Coast paper, of the revolt in Lyttelton Gaol and th& insurrectiOtt an Hokitika, Gaol. He conclude* by stating that ha intends to take legal advice, as regards the statement mad<e in print. The new railway time-table appears tb be giving general di^tisf action to the public. The protests made to the Department have received no attention.
