Thirty years ago the Scriptures were printed secretly in Japan, and copies were sent out only after dark. Those who printed them did so at the risk of their lives. -Now there is a publishing company in Yokohama which prints the Bible not only in Japanese, but in* Chinese, Tibetan, and Corean. Last year 138,000 copies were circulated in Japan alone. A bullock at Wanlip, in Leicestershire, has had an extraordinary experience. .Tormented by flies, it plunged into the Rivtr Soar, and after swimming about for some time, entered .a storm outfall culvert belonging to the borough of Leicester. It proceeded up the newer, and a number of men from the borough surveyor's department were engaged all night in endeavouring to capture or drive out tihe animal. It was late on the following day before the exciting hunt successfully ended.
